Description: Intended for: Staff responsible for conducting performance appraisals.

Prerequisites: None

Note: This is the second workshop in a series of two.

Description: A key element of the performance appraisal meeting is the ability of the supervisor to provide the employee with constructive feedback. The purpose of this course is to provide skills that will enable the participants to give constructive feedback in a way that builds openness and mutual respect, and promotes problem solving and learning. Topics covered will include: evaluating your current level of effectivenss at providing constructive feedback and the 5 steps to providing constructive feedback. Skill building exercises will give participants an opportunity to practice what they have learned.
