Description: Thirty years ago, when Lewis Baltz was completing his photographs of a ski resort being built in Park City, Utah, he was in the middle of his most productive period. He spoke of this project and two others as a “trilogy”, which implies that he saw the new landscape of the West as tragic in nature. Park City shows why.
