Description: This seminar examines the biomechanics associated with whiplash-related disorders and injuries. Topics include the anatomical and neurophysiological aspects of the injured tissues, biomechanics and traffic accident reconstruction, the injury mechanisms, head/neck kinematics and pain issues. The course also examines several case studies and issues of liability. Designed for healthcare practitioners such as chiropractors, physical therapists and other individuals involved in treating persons injured in low-speed impacts.
