Description:
Fundamental concepts of heat and waves. Topics include heat, thermodynamics, vibrations and waves, sound, light and reflection, refraction, interference and diffraction, and subatomic physics. Demonstrations, hands-on activity, and computer simulations appropriate for secondary students are presented. This course is aligned with both the state and national science standards.
