Description: Did you have problems growing tomato plants last year? Do pests damage your vegetables before they are harvested? This course gives you the information you need to grow vegetables successfully in your garden. Learn how to identify the best locations in your garden, select appropriate plants for growing in this area, care for vegetable plants, and combat common plant pests. The course includes tips on how to harvest and store fresh vegetables. A lecture and tour of a backyard vegetable garden takes place on Saturday morning.
