Description: The Indigenous Hip Hop Symposium will start at 6pm in The Barn. A panel of hip hop artists and scholars will discuss transnational Indigenous hip hop generally and Native American hip hop specifically, tracing out its origins and importance as a means of cultural revitalization, continuation of traditional oral storytelling, critical social and political change, wellness, and healing. Following that will be an amazing concert with four guest performers consisting of Culture Shock Camp: Marcus and Brian Frejo (Pawnee and Seminole) as well as Fawksie 1, and Short Dawg (Serrano/Cahuilla). This event is free and open to the public. Parking will be $5 in Lot 6Open to: General Public
