Description: Quantitative PCR (qPCR) has become the standard in the scientific literature for quantifying mRNA expression of specific genes. This popular course covers a range of topics including basic theory of qPCR, principles of mRNA detection and quantification, instrument operations and software, and data analysis. The workshop will prepare even novices for hands-on experiments.
FREE QUANTITATIVE PCR WORKSHOP
This workshop will include:
- Overview of quantitative PCR
- Strategies for optimization and plate set-up
- An overview of the operation of the iQ5, MYiQ and
CFX96 instruments in the Genomics Core
- Demonstration of the CFX96 software
