Geographic Information Systems Summer School

Description: Earn the GIS Summer School Certificate in six weeks. In this intensive program, the project based curriculum combines lecture and practical lab work using the Esri software platform. Participants registered for the GIS Summer School Certificate are enrolled in individual courses totaling 15 units. The official transcript will post the individual courses, grades and units earned. The GIS Summer School Certificate is awarded upon successful completion of the 15 units.

Prerequisites: Introduction to ArcGIS, ERT 802.2 or Learning ArcGIS Desktop: A Self-Paced Online Course, ERT 808.1; plus 3-6 months experience using the software. Job experience, volunteer experience and self-practice are acceptable.

Notes:$500 deposit is required to hold your space. Deposit is non-refundable after June 1, 2011. Application and fee is required. May be submitted with deposit. Please call 800-442-4990 to enroll with a deposit. The balance is due before June 27.
