Description: Selection, planting and care of citrus trees in the home garden. Participants tour the UC Riverside Citrus Variety Collection, one of the most important and diverse collections of citrus trees in the world, and have the opportunity to inspect and sample many varieties of citrus. The course presents information on:

  • Insect control for common and exotic species of citrus trees

  • Selection of trees

  • Site assessment

  • Planting

  • Feeding

  • Irrigation

  • Disease


Schedule:Fri. 6-9 p.m. & Sat. 9 a.m.-noon, Feb. 8 & 9 (2 meetings)
