Men and women frequently encounter discrimination in how they are supposed to behave sexually subsequently creating offensive language as common. The Double Standard Project will provide a means for men and women to better comprehend the emotional effects of sex and understand the dehumanization of the sexual woman.
Themes include the idea of sexual cognition, numbness to emotions felt after sex, timing of sexual action, influence of age, differences between men and women, and the development of expectations after sexual actions have occurred between partners.
