Description: The Calder Quartet – Benjamin Jacobson, Andrew Bulbrook (violins), Jonathan Moerschel (viola), and Eric Byers (cello) – is one of America’s most
satisfying and most enterprising quartets. On Sunday, February 17th at 4pm, this superb chamber group returns to the Culver Center to captivate another packed house with their fearless brand of musicianship. In this free concert, expect more fireworks with Ben Johnston’s Amazing Grace, Terry Riley’s ‘Cadenza on the Night Plain,’ and the String Quartet No. 14, Op. 131, by Ludwig van Beethoven.
