The presentation will cover:
- The history of the Oscar Academy Awards
- Overview of the top 6 categories
- Film clips showing seminal performance moments and backstory insights
- Tributes and career related stories of Stephen Spielberg- producer and director and Jessica Chastain, theatre and film actress known for her roles in The Help and in Zero Dark Thirty
- Challenges of going from Page to Screen- a review of two films adapted from a book and play: Lincoln and Les Misérables.
- Q & A – prizes to be given away.
