Description:

Introduction to copperplate calligraphy--a script which was historically etched into copper for printing. Written with a pointed pen, it is popular for addressing envelopes and a mainstay for formal invitations and greeting cards.  The elegant script can be basic or flourished for a very decorative effect.  You will learn to create the thick and thin strokes which define this style.  Contemporary variations will be introduced.
