North Indian Tabla Drum Concert

The concert features dynamic compositions, rapid flowing and pulsating rhythmic patterns and intricate beats of tabla along with its tonal beauty. The sitar and vocal will also be showcased in taking brief solos in between tabla compositions.
Abhiman Kaushal has performed worldwide and accompanied most of the leading musicians, singers and dancers of North Indian classical music. His numerous recordings and world music collaborations include a soundtrack for the film Zoolander. He performed for MTV’s Aerosmith icon show in front of a live audience and recently was the featured solo musician for the acclaimed electronic dance drama Ramayana 2k3 which won rave reviews in Los Angeles and New York.
Abhiman is currently director of the UCR South Asian Ensemble at UC Riverside.

Free and open to the public.
Though admission is free, a ticket is required. One ticket per person will be distributed at the venue one hour before the performance. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
