Introducing the “Adventures of the Mind” series. Two academics from different disciplines will offer distinct takes on one topic. The moderator will be Georgia Warnke, Director of the Center for Ideas and Society.


What is consciousness?


Eric Schwitzgebel (philosophy) says theories of consciousness remain dubious, while Jon Willits (psychology) says we can learn much about human consciousness through empirical investigation.
