Description: This workshop will introduce classroom assessment techniques - which are quick, in class, activities that give real time feedback on teaching and learning to instructors and students so that they can make mid-course adjustments. This workshop will feature examples of two different classroom assessment techniques, discussion from faculty who have worked with these techniques and give participants an opportunity to integrate these into a course they are planning for the spring quarter. (This workshop is offered in the spirit of sharing new ideas and is not linked to annual reporting to my office.) All are welcome (so please share with other faculty, lectures and graduate students) but an RSVP to is appreciated.
