Category: Training

Training will begin on the new Zeiss 880 Airyscan the week of July  17th, with full day training on Monday Wednesday and Thursday.  Attendance will be strictly limited to 6 per session and priority will be given to groups from the same lab.

We will do a 3 hour morning training session, then spend the afternoon practicing on user samples.

In other news, the Keyence BZ-X710 is installed in room 1016 (robot lab) and is on open booking at $10/h.

There is a small glitch in the calendar system, so go in to any other resource, then book the hours you need off the calendar page.  Similarly for the 880.

The SP5 is having problems with its control knobs, so use Z-Wide instead of Z galvo and click on each detector to use the software sliders to modify gain and offset.  New part is on order and I can install it myself.  Transmission detector is out to the eye, but should still scan.

The Victor 2 is awaiting a service call and is inoperable.

David will be out the week of July 10.
