LOVE’S LABOUR’S LOST
A New Musical Based on the Play by William Shakespeare
Songs by Michael Friedman, Book Adapted by Alex Timbers
Directed by Chari Arespacochaga
Musical Direction by Michael Antaramian
Choreography by Dominique Araiza-Cauldwell

Romance, revelry and enchanting music ignite in this contemporary, yet lovingly faithful, musical adaptation of Shakespeare's comedy. Using the original text, Love's Labour's Lost reunites Obie Award winner, Michael Friedman (Bloody Bloody Andrew JacksonThe Fortress of Solitude) and two-time Tony Award nominee, Alex Timbers (Peter and the Starcatcher) as they bring their one-of-a-kind sensibility to the immortal words of the Bard.

The King and his best buds decide at their five-year college reunion to swear off the joys of romance. But when four clever girls from their past show up, they're forced to reconsider all of that nonsense! Add in an outlandish exchange student, a performance art-loving professor and a whole cast of other zany characters, and love and devotion are put to the test with hilarious results.

Smart, sexy, outrageous and irreverent, Love's Labour's Lost is a madcap celebration of true love and coming of age. Featuring an ensemble cast and an infectious pop score, this is a perfect choice for any group looking for a fresh, clever and outrageously fun modernized classic.

This play features adult subject matter, sexual situations, violence and strong language.
