UCR Chamber Singers and Chamber Music Ensembles
Benjamin Blocksom, mandolin
Directed by Ruth Charloff and Frances Moore

UCR Chamber Singers sing music of Béla Bartók based on Christmas folk songs that Bartok collected from Rumanian shepherds and peasants and arranged in his inimitable compositional style. Also offered are two beautiful songs by the late American composer Stephen Paulus, and Sweelinck's lively Baroque favorite, Hodie Christus natus est.

Members of the UCR Chamber Music Ensembles present works for string orchestra: Lully’s Suite for Orchestra, a Vivaldi mandolin concerto featuring soloist Benjamin Blocksom, and Samuel Barber’s beloved Adagio for Strings.

Free and open to the public.
Though admission is free, a ticket is required. One ticket per person will be distributed at the venue one hour before the performance. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parking: Complimentary permits available at the Kiosk.

Open to: General Public
