Description: This presentation, in partnership with the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum, will discuss the work of the medical division of the Office of Indian Affairs during the early twentieth century before any Indian Health Service existed. Speaking will be Clifford Trafzer, a distinguished professor of History at the University of California, Riverside, where he is the current holder of the Rupert Costo Chair in American Indian Affairs.
