About this Event
The Eaton Conference was first established in 1979 to complement the Eaton Collection—the largest publicly accessible speculative fiction (SF) archive in the world—and has been a cornerstone of research in and around SF. Over the course of its nearly 50-year history, the conference has supported both emerging and established scholars from around the globe.
This virtual symposium brings together contemporary science fiction community members, librarians, authors, editors, and scholars, to discuss the state of the field of speculative publishing genres writ large, prior to the return of an in-person conference in April 2025.
