Organized by UCR’s Office of Technology Partnerships, this conference is designed to foster entrepreneurship and innovation aimed at solving climate change challenges in Southern California. It will serve as a platform for researchers, the private sector, community members, and local government to discuss and develop strategies for climate adaptation and resilience, with a focus on short-term mitigation solutions. 

The event will feature presentations from leading experts in climate adaptation and resilience, as well as entrepreneurs and investors who are creating innovative solutions to address pressing climate issues. Faculty and students will also present their research and proposals for accelerating the implementation of these solutions. 

The conference aims to catalyze collaboration and action-oriented initiatives among key players in the regional innovation ecosystem, particularly focusing on practical solutions that address the needs of underserved communities.
