The UCR/Center for Ideas and Society Dreaming Retention Think Tank invites all UCR colleagues to attend this roundtable discussion with UCOP and UCR administrators, UCR faculty members, and Dr. Kal Alston, National Advisory Board member of Imagining America: Artists + Scholars in Public Life.
 

“Rethinking Retention, Redefining (Faculty) ‘Diversity’” will focus on the institutional conditions surrounding the (non)retention of underrepresented faculty over recent years, utilizing insights from Imagining America’s multi-year national study of peer institutions that sought to “…better understand and to provide dynamic actionable tools to shift institutional culture in higher education to more fully support public and activist scholarship in the arts, design, and humanities.”
