About this Event
View mapWhat is rhetoric and what can the study of rhetoric tell us about the world today? This panel brings together scholars from multiple disciplines -- Political Science, Theatre, English, Philosophy, Media Studies -- to discuss the meaning of rhetoric in their respective disciplines and how they use the tools of rhetorical analysis in their research. This panel is the first in a series of events about Rhetoric Today that will be organized by CHASS over the coming year. We aim to cultivate a wide-ranging study regarding the priorities for research today and the value of rhetorical approaches to a range of urgent questions.
