About this Event
Join us for a screening and talk-back of Abolish ICE and All Border-Prisons, a film by Mayon Denton, Cinthya Martinez, and Setsu Shigematsu. This film uplifts the voices of feminist and queer undocumented activists who have come out of the shadows to build a blossoming abolitionist movement. This preview screening for UCR community members concerned with gender justice and (Im)migration justice will include a panel discussion by local activists featured in the film. RSVP required for this in-person event:
This event is co-sponsored by: Asian Pacific Student Program, Undocumented Student Program, LGBT Resource Center, Riverside Faculty Association, Center for Ideas and Society, Performing Difference Faculty Commons Group, and Media & Cultural Studies.
