The ¡ADELANTE! Success Series will feature a series of workshops to promote academic success, persistence, retention, and building comunidad at UC Riverside. Winter quarter will focus on preparation for post-graduation. The series is open to all students. Participants who attend three or more sessions will be entered into a drawing for a graduate school preparation course of your choice, presented by the Academic Resource Center. 

The goal of this workshop is to help students understand the role of the Statement of Purpose (SOP), the value of investing time into developing a strong SOP, and the necessary components of an SOP.
