 he next UC CLAA Summit during UCSF Alumni Weekend.\n\nUCSF Alumni Weekend 
 offers a rich lineup of events\, conversations\, and celebrations—and we
  invite you to be part of it. Join fellow UC alumni as we come together to
  explore the various sessions\, reconnect with our community\, and engage 
 in meaningful opportunities to learn\, network\, and grow throughout the w
 eekend.\n\nAs a statewide collective\, UC CLAA is committed to advancing t
 he UC system to better serve the on‑campus and off‑campus Chicanx/Lati
 nx community\, including alumni\, staff\, faculty\, and students. Your par
 ticipation strengthens our shared mission and deepens our impact across Ca

 k: UC CLAA Presents "Student/Community Clinics —From Legacy to Leadershi
 p"\n2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.\n\nUniversity of California alumni who previousl
 y were involved in student-run clinics will come together to reflect on a 
 legacy of community care — the enduring impact of UC’s Chicano Health 
 Movement. Rooted in service to Latinx communities\, student clinics were f
 ormative spaces where hands-on care\, accountability to community\, and co
 llective leadership shaped alumni who now lead in health equity as clinici
 ans\, researchers\, and advocates. Open to all Alumni Weekend attendees\, 
 this session explores how these early clinic experiences created health eq
 uity leaders — and why sustaining student/community clinics remains esse
 ntial to advancing equitable care for future generations.\n\nComunidad con
  Cafecito in the Lounge\n3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.\n\nOpen to all Alumni Weeke
 nd attendees\, this informal gathering invites alumni to pause\, connect\,
  and reflect between sessions while remaining engaged with the broader pro
 gram.\n\nGuests are welcome to enjoy coffee and pastries while exploring c
 urated materials highlighting Latinx student initiatives\, community clini
 cs\, and leadership pathways across UCSF. Hosted by Lina Mendez\, PhD\, ex
 ecutive director of Resource Centers for Climate and Belonging at UCSF\, t
 he space offers opportunities for conversation and discovery.\n\nWhether y
 ou're stepping out briefly or lingering between talks\, Comunidad con Cafe
 cito is designed to support movement and community-building while keeping 
 Saturday’s UCSF Talks at the center of Alumni Weekend activities.
