Along the Chaparral, UC Riverside’s project within the Veterans Legacy Program
Join participating Riverside Unified School District middle and high school students and UC Riverside graduate fellows at the November 11, Along the Chaparral Legacy Project Performance. This performance will commemorate stories of the enshrined veterans and their dependents interred at Riverside National Cemetery. Students and graduate fellows will engage in music, movement, and readings of creative works to pay tribute to the lives and stories of the men and women who were dedicated to American military service. Following the performance will be the Riverside National Cemetery’s Veterans Day Ceremony, an hour and 15-minute long ceremony filled with music from the Riverside Concert Band, speakers, and sites to behold in honor of our veterans.
