An Evening of Micro Operas: A Workshop Performance
Dana Kaufman, Visiting Assistant Professor in Music Composition
Jonathan Keplinger, piano accompanist
World premieres that explore and push the boundaries of more traditional opera. Featuring a multitude of operatic genres - from rock opera, to works including electronics, to bel canto opera. Join us for an exciting evening of new pieces about the Blasey Ford-Kavanaugh hearings, Pop-Tarts, a forbidden romance between a toothbrush and toothpaste, the environment, and more.
