As a bird hotspot for both permanent residents and seasonal migrating species (see ebird.org), the Botanic Gardens will host a bird walk timed for ideal sightings. The bird walk is open to all levels of birders and should be a nice opportunity for beginners to hone their skills. It is not unusual to see at least 30 species in a single walk. Please arrive by 6:50 am for the 7:00 am tour. Register your attendance by 5/6/2026. Please wear appropriate walking footwear. Light refreshments following the tour. Paid parking in the BG Visitor Lot, Lot 10, or Lot 13 Blue.
