UCR is Dancing  is the annual showcase of original choreography projects created by students in the Department of Dance. This year UCR is Dancing will be presented in the Performance Lab, ARTS 166 at the end of winter quarter, 2024.

Dancers who are casted, will begin working/rehearsing with the student-choreographers currently enrolled in DNCE 188: Individual Projects in Creative Activity this Fall, 2023, as early as week 5, and will continue through Winter quarter for course credit (2 units of DNCE 167, unless specifically demonstrated as not possible due to unit caps). Students should expect to have 2 rehearsals a week of 2 hours each during Fall and Winter quarter, a showing of work in progress by the end of Fall quarter, tech & production during Winter quarter, and progress showings during Winter quarter in preparation to UCR is Dancing, who will be directed by a faculty member of the Department of Dance.
