On September 25th from 10a-2p in the Glasgow Conference room, African Student Programs in collaboration with the Department of Residential Life, is hosting an event called Barbershop Conversations where first year and transfer Black males will have the opportunity to connect with professional staff and upperclassmen to discuss how to navigate the campus of UCR. We will talk about academic success, living on campus, getting involved, and other things for thriving on campus. Also, the first 25 first year/transfer Black scholars who sign up will receive a haircut from Riverside's own, Jay. Come learn what it takes to be successful your first year on campus and connect with other Black men on campus. Food will be provided. RSVP is required for all in attendance.
