Have you ever listened to songs by Romeo Santos, Aventura or Prince Royce? These are Bachata songs! Bachata is a dance that originated in the Dominican Republic and has exploded all over the world. In this class, we will teach you the fundamentals of Bachata. You will learn individual steps such as basic turns, footwork, and isolations. You will also learn partner work in open and closed position. By the end of this course you will be able to go out and social dance with confidence. This is a progressive class so make sure to sign up within the first two weeks. This course will prepare you for the intermediate class. No prior dance experience necessary and no partner needed.
