Who is Lydia?
Lydia-Carlie (she/her) is a queer, Black Haitian birth worker based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her journey as a birth worker began very early; she was raised in a multi-generational Haitian household where she was immersed in the births around her and fascinated with caring for her younger sibling/cousins.
She is a certified Birth & Postpartum Doula, a Reiki Master/Teacher, and a Certified Neuromuscular Massage Therapist with a focus on prenatal and postpartum massage.
Her practice, SageFemme Prenatal Massage & Doula Services supports families through their pregnancy and birth journeys.
