Part play, part poetry slam, Brown Face follows a group of college students as they navigate their identities in the competitive world of spoken word poetry.

This production contains flashing lights and sirens, images of police/ICE arrests and deportation, depictions of drug/alcohol use and a panic attack, and features tense situations and strong language centered around sensitive identity issues.

NO ADMISSION FEE for UCR STUDENTS: Show your valid UCR Student ID to pick up your pre-paid ticket - approved for one performance per production at the University Theatre Box Office starting October 28th.

There is no reserved seating so arrive early for the best seats. The performance will promptly at the announced curtain time and latecomers will only be seated at an appropriate pause in the program. Please order carefully. No exchanges or refunds will be made, except in the event a performance is canceled. 

PARKING:
$7.50 in Lot 1 - no fee with UCR permit. Parking can be purchased at the dispenser next to the kiosk at the entrance to Lot 1, or in the ParkMobile app (zone #2483)

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS:
Audience members must wear a mask at all times inside the Studio Theatre.

Audience members will be asked to fill out an online Wellness Survey prior to coming to UCR's campus, and must show proof of clearance to be on campus before they will be allowed inside the Studio Theatre.

Cast members may be unmasked during performances. Each and every member of the Brown Face production is compliant with County, UC, and Campus requirements on health and safety.
