Camp Highlander is a traditional summer camp set on a college campus all year round. We focus on youth development and important essential skills which are taught through activities including climbing, swimming, archery, arts and crafts, dance, hiking, camp games, team play, sports, and so much more. We structure the camp with an academic focus combining fun and engaging STEM learning activities through Astronomy, Neuroscience and Earth Sciences. We are one of a handful of pioneer camps in the country which offers citizen science through The GLOBE Program with our collaboration with NASA. Camp Highlander fosters in our youth a philosophy of following a healthy lifestyle, making good choices and helps instill a love for the outdoors whilst promoting equity and inclusion.
