Join us on Friday, April 25th and Saturday, April 26th for the world premiere dance event choreographed by award-winning UCR professor Sage Ni'Ja Whitson for the Atrium of the Culver Center.

Catharsis is an exciting new performance installation where memory plays with live video, dance, pop music, and text. The project is created in collaboration with and performed by celebrated dancers, sha harrell and Jenna Reigel, both formerly of the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane dance company, and features original video and projections by Christophe Katrib.

Commissioned by Amherst College and presented by the Department of Black Study and UCR Arts. This project is supported, in part, by the CHASS Dean's Office and the Center for Ideas and Society.
