He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Marmara University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2004 and 2013. Dr. Yilmaz's journey in the field began as a project engineer in the Ministry of Energy and Industry, where he honed his skills and passion for sustainable energy solutions. His doctoral study, titled "Determination of Methods Deriving Electrical Energy From Solar Energy and Optimum Efficiency by Solar Tracking System," stands as a testament to his deep understanding of solar energy systems. Dr. Yilmaz has contributed significantly to the academic community, having authored over a dozen research papers on topics ranging from increasing solar energy efficiency and photovoltaic (PV) output to generating high-voltage DC from solar power and optimizing solar tracking systems.
