The theme of this virtual symposium is "Celebrating Diversity in Plant Sciences," and is organized in collaboration with Corteva Agriscience. The symposium's purpose is to highlight and promote diversity in botany by spotlighting a variety of career opportunities, plant research, and of course the researchers that study those plants! The Botany Graduate Student Association hopes that this event will show our community that we, as University of California Riverside graduate students, are serious about 1) valuing diversity and 2) increasing equity and inclusivity in plant science spaces.
