We are bringing some colorful creativity to the regional fight to reduce air pollution for Clean Air Day. We’ve partnered with the University of California, Riverside, Office of Sustainability, R'Garden, Metrolink and the City of Riverside Department of Art and Cultural Affairs to deploy a cutting-edge, air-cleaning tool on the UCR campus: a smog-eating mural at the R’Garden. On October 3, 2023 from 9am-4pm, students, staff, and community volunteers will use air-purifying paint to bring to life a custom work from local artist Ekaterina Orlovie, turning air pollution into something beautiful, safe, and sustainable. Estamos trayendo creatividad en colores a la lucha regional para reducir la contaminación del aire.
