Learn how he became founder and CEO of TruEvolution, a health and justice organization serving LGBTQ+, youth, seniors and people living with HIV in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties and ultimately opened the first IE LGBTQ+ Center in Downtown Riverside with support of two other UCR alumni. Gabe is a former member of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS under President Barack Obama, was appointed as an inaugural Commissioner by CA Governor Gavin Newsom to the Racial Equity Commission and serves on the Board of Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest.
