This session will cover the fundamentals of how salary ranges and grades are developed for Career Tracks (non-represented) positions, guidelines for how individual employee pay rates are determined, considerations to ensure a fair and equitable process and recent legislation which supports fairness in salary offers and pay transparency for all Californians.

BIO

A proud Highlander since joining UCR Human Resources as a Compensation Analyst in 2010, Scott has experience in private sector HR including generalist, compensation and benefits roles in manufacturing, wind energy and hospitality. Growing up among the orange groves of Redlands California, Mr. Biggerstaff holds Bachelor’s degrees in Communication Studies and Industrial / Organizational Psychology from California State University San Bernardino.
