DESCRIPTION:The Student Disability Resource Center is offering its campus w
 ide training entitled the Disability Ally Workshop on Tuesday\, March 12.\
 n\nThis program seeks to facilitate awareness\, understanding\, and compet
 ency of disability through connecting faculty\, staff\, and students with 
 resources\, knowledge\, and relationships of disability as diversity. Part
 icipants in this program will gain knowledge about what it means to truly 
 be an ally for students with disabilities.\n\nTopics covered include:\n\nD
 isability Law\n\nAcademic Accommodations\n\nDisability Etiquette\n\nHidden
  Disabilities\n\nDisability Demographics\n\nand a Student Panel\n\nPartici
 pants will also receive a Disability Ally placard that they can place in t
 heir office notifying that they are a safe space for individuals with disa
 bilities.\n\nTo register go to UC learning center online and search Disabi
