This workshop is to provide an insight into Security Deposits. Many students are first-time renters and aren't aware of the fundamentals when it comes to housing. The workshop will delve into that aspect of Security Deposits with topics such as:

• Paying a Deposit to Recovering a deposit
• Reviewing move-in/move out checklist
• Wear and Tear Vs. Damage
• Tenant Rights

There will also be two guest speakers present:

• Leap Easy - An agency that is able to subsitute a small monthly fee for a large up-front cash deposit.
• Fair Housing Council of Riverside- review tenant rights
