The UCR Library, in partnership with the UCR Career Center, is offering a Digital Scholarship Certificate Program! Join us on Thursday, September 11 to learn more!

Undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and early-career researchers are all welcome. This program will bridge the gap between traditional research methods and emerging digital technologies, preparing participants for academic success and enhanced career prospects.

To earn the Digital Scholarship Certificate, participants must:

• Attend workshops from our Digital Scholarship Workshop Series in-person in Orbach Library, Room 122 or on Zoom
  • Graduate students, faculty, early-career researchers: Complete 5 workshops*
  • Undergraduate students: Complete 3 workshops*
• Enroll in our Canvas course to review additional learning materials and complete guided assignments.
• Design and complete a capstone project that demonstrates applied digital scholarship skills.

• Building a Digital Research Portfolio Using No/Low Code Tools
• Digital Scholarship Project Types and Best Practices
• Computational Methods in Text Analysis
• Building 2D Online Exhibits: Omeka and Digital Storytelling
• Introduction to XR Design and 3D Experience
• Qualitative Data Analysis & Tools
• Building Your Academic Profile Online
• Navigating Open Access Repositories & Publishing with eScholarship

Faculty & staff can enroll on Canvas if you do not have access to Handshake. Enrolled Canvas participants will be sent reminders for workshops and Zoom links.
