• Help with UCR Education Abroad Scholarship essays: January 16 at 10 a.m and January 24 at 2:00 p.m.
• Help with Fund for Education Abroad essays: January 16 at 10 a.m.; January 24 at 2:00 p.m.; February 1 at 10:00 a.m.; and February 6 at 10:00 a.m.
• Help with Gilman essays: February 15 at 2:00 p.m.; February 20 at 10:00 a.m.; February 28 at 2:00 p.m.; and March 7 at 10:00 a.m. (hybrid in person and on Zoom).

UCR Education Abroad Scholarship ($500-$1,000)

Eligibility: Enrolled UCR students without prior study abroad experience. 

Recommendation: One recommendation is required.

Deadlines (2): February 1 (summer, fall, and academic year) and October 1 (winter, spring, and calendar year). This winter it is February 1.

Fund for Education Abroad scholarships ($1,000-$5,000)

Eligibility: Underrepresented undergraduate students with financial need.  

Recommendation: One recommendation is required.

Deadlines (2): February (summer, fall, and academic year) and September (winter, spring). This winter it is February 7.

Gilman Scholarship ($2,500-$8,000)

Eligibility: Undergraduate students receiving Pell Grants. Open to U.S. citizens. 

Recommendation: None is required, but certification is required.

Deadlines (2): March and October (all terms).

This winter it is March 7.
