Version control, also known as source control, is the practice of tracking and managing changes to software code. Version control systems are software tools that help software teams manage changes to source code over time.

 

This is a self-paced, Canvas-based workshop that takes 170 minutes (approx 3 hours) to finish. You can ask for help from our librarians at any point and have until the end of fall quarter to comeplete the workshop. Upon completion you will receive a digital badge and certificate of completion.
