Networking Strategy & Action Plan for Winter Break
- Students will learn practical techniques to build authentic professional connections. Topics include how to research target companies and individuals on LinkedIn, conduct informational interviews, and leverage alumni and industry associations. Emphasis is placed on relationship-building over transactional outreach, with guidance on follow-up and conversation starters.
- Students will learn how to create a personalized job search action plan that maps out key milestones and activities over the winter break and beyond. This includes application deadlines, networking goals, event tracking, and self-assigned weekly tasks to maintain momentum and structure.
Each 1-hour session is designed to prepare AGSM students for career success through skill-building workshops, strategic guidance, and personal branding essentials. This workshop will prepare students to be ready to apply for internships, full-time roles and be prepared to attend in-person and virtual events with employers and alumni.
Please bring your laptop to these sessions to enhance your full participation. Dress code is business casual.
