UCR Chorale, Chamber Singers and Orchestra come together to perform Faure’s glorious Requiem. Faure imbued his very special Requiem with hope, compassion, and light, giving us one of the most beloved masterpieces of the choral repertoire.  We welcome special guest soloists, soprano Lindsay Feldmeth Westra and baritone Philip Meyer.  Also on the program is Faure’s Pelleas and Melisande for orchestra, Butterworth’s The Banks of the Green Willow, and two beautiful, very different takes on the 23rd Psalm, by Bobby McFerrin and Elena Kats-Chernin. Conducted by Ruth Charloff.
