Join us for a lecture by Rieko Yamaguchi and a dialogue with Jenner Doyle. Prof. Yamaguchi is a specialist of gender, feminism and sports and has served on the Japanese Olympic Committee and is very involved in the Japanese Women's professional soccer association. Jennifer Doyle teaches in the English Department and has published a wide range of essays about women's soccer. She was in the stands when Japan defeated the USWNT and won the World Cup in 2011. She is a season ticket holder for Angel City FC, and wears Jun Endo's shirt.
